Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all photography services provided by Hitched and Clicked Cambridge, Catarina Clifford to the Client (“you”).
By booking photography services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure your wedding date.

The booking fee is deducted from the total package price.

The remaining balance is due no later than 1 month before the wedding date.
-
No date is secured until the booking fee and signed contract are received.
Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of services.
2. Cancellations
By the Client

The booking fee is non-refundable.
-
If cancellation occurs within 1 month of the wedding date, the full remaining balance may still be payable.
By the Photographer
In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, I will:

Make reasonable efforts to source a suitable replacement photographer, or
-
Provide a full refund of any monies paid.
Liability is limited to the return of payments made.
3. Coverage & Style
You acknowledge that:

You are booking the Photographer based on my portfolio, style, and editing approach (relaxed, candid, documentary).

Creative discretion applies to all images delivered.

Not all images taken will be delivered. Final image selection is at the Photographer’s professional judgement.
Specific shots are not guaranteed, though I will make every reasonable effort to capture key moments discussed in advance.
4. Image Delivery

Edited digital images will be delivered within 6 - 8 Weeks of the wedding date.

Images are delivered via online gallery unless otherwise agreed.

RAW/unprocessed files are not supplied.
It is the Client’s responsibility to download and back up images upon delivery.
5. Copyright & Usage

The Photographer retains full copyright of all images.

Clients receive a personal-use licence to print and share images for non-commercial purposes.

Images must not be altered, edited, or filtered without written permission.
The Photographer may use images for portfolio, website, social media, competitions, and marketing unless the Client requests otherwise in writing before the wedding date.
6. Model Release
By booking, you grant permission for images to be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to the event.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate event details and timings.

Obtain permission from venues regarding photography restrictions.

Ensure guests do not interfere with photography coverage.
The Photographer is not responsible for missed moments due to guest interference, venue restrictions, lateness, or weather conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, loss, or corruption of digital files, liability is limited to a refund of monies paid.
The Photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, venue restrictions, accidents, or equipment failure (where reasonable backup measures were in place).
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or other unforeseeable events.
10. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website and in compliance with UK GDPR.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
